Objective

The purpose of this document is to set forth Akkodis policy and procedures for handling associate absences and tardiness to promote efficient delivery of the contract services and minimize unscheduled absences and work interruption. Akkodis associates provide a crucial and time sensitive service at Google Data Centers across the globe. In order for Google to plan and release work accordingly, a strict adherence to attendance policies is required for all active associates.

Purpose

The Akkodis Attendance policy outlines the Company's overall expectations regarding attendance. Within this policy, business units and departments have been given the flexibility to further outline how certain attendance procedures will be administered at a local team or project level. Associates are expected to report to their workstation or area as scheduled, on time and prepared to start working. Associates are also expected to remain at their workstation or area for their entire work schedule, excluding scheduled breaks and lunches. In addition to the Company policy, please be aware of the following additional procedures for our areas.

This policy does not apply to absences covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), or approved leave provided as a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Absence

“Absence” is defined as the failure of an employee to report for work when he or she is scheduled to work. The two types of absences are defined below:

Excused absence (Approved Unpaid Time Off – AUTO) occurs when all the following conditions are met:

· The absence request is approved in advance by the Google and Akkodis Engagement Manager

· The absence is protected by Akkodis policy and/or State, Federal or Local laws

Associates not in good standing as it relates to this attendance policy can likely be denied approved unpaid time off

Unexcused absence (Unapproved Time Off – UTO) occurs when:

· Advanced approval is not received and/or the absence is not covered by Akkodis Policy or Federal, State or Local law.

· The absence must be reported by sending via Fresh Desk ticket to your Google and Akkodis Engagement Manager within two (2) hours of scheduled arrival or as soon as feasible if extenuating circumstances exist.

· If the associate is going to be tardy, please notify your Google and Akkodis Engagement Manager via a Fresh Desk ticket 15 - 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled arrive.
